by reaolut1c-Jn directed a notice to be given by t.he City
Clerk. inv1 t1ng 'bids !'or the work and improvement of
California Avenue as described 1n Resolution of Intention
in the n1atrer of acquisi-:ior. and improvement district
number one of the City of Palo Alto; and at the same
time directed su1.d clerk by ss.iC:. resolution gi'ling
notice invi t1r.g b1cts to ra4.uire the bidders who ere to
submit bids for the performing of tl,.e work and 'tmprovement,
to nurchase thd bonds which are to· be issued to cover
the· cost of the nc~uisition and 1~T.e~1ate possession and
to include in thuir b1da for said improver.1t=mt & bid
