The Council o.f the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE aa
follows:
That upon tho recommendation of tho Board of Public
Safety of the City of Palo Alto, tlus Council hereby requests
that the Sottthel•n Pec1f1c Company install gates at the Embar-
cadero Road Crossing and that if necessary, an order be obtained
from the Railroad Commission of the State of California for
th1D purpose. The 'Mayor and City Attorney are directed to t&: e
the necease.r:.' procedure before the Ra.llroad Commission.

a meeting oi' the CtJuncil of th') City of Palo Alto on July 14,
