(1) The 1n1t1al coat of 1netall1ns J&id gates
shall be borne bJ Southern Pa.e11'1c Company and the City
ot Palo Alto, the city to oon.tr.1bute the sum ot One
Thousand ~llara ($1,009) and Southern Pacific Company to
bear the remaining cost, the maintenance thereafter to be
borne b7 Southern Pac1!1o Company.
(I) T.he gatea shall be of a t7P& approv•d by the
Commission, pl~s for which shall bQ tiled within s1Xt1
(60) days from tne date of this order.
{3) The City of Palo Alto shall, within thirty
(30) da7s from the date of th1a o:rd•r, lUke available
to the Southern Pac1t1c Company its portion of the coat
ot the 1natallat1o~ of said gates, amounting to One
Thouaand Dollars ($1,000) or aubmit a plan ot auch payment,
which. shall be satisfactory to the railroad, and adviae
the c~aaion accordingly.
In the event th& 01t1 of Palo Alto does not comply
with Condition (3) above, the foregoing order.ah~l be or
no further to1•oo and e.ftect 11 and thereupon, the Comm1ss1 on
will iesue ita supplemental order in this proceeding, as
indicated in the to1•going opinion.
