RELATIVE TO FU1\DS COLLECTED BY SUBSCH!PTICN lt"'R THE
NEW PAIJ) ALTO HOSPITAL
Tho Council ot the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE
a! follows:
That whereas, the Chamber of Commerce of this
City haa made collections of certain funds raised by
popular subacr1pt1on for the purpose of erecting a new
hoApital, and whereas, there is now on hand the sum
of f22,926.93 10 collected, and other auma are being
oolleoted from time to time,
NOW THEREFORE, Be it reaolved, that such tunda
now in the bands or th~ Palo Alto Chamber ot Commerce,
and those heroa.f'ter collected 1 shall be depoa1 ted with
the Treaeurer of the City of Palo Alto, to be kept by
him as a Hospital tunct .. for the erection of the new
hospital;
AND WHEREAS, certain expenditures for arehiteet•s
fees are now to be made, and oth'!r expenditures must be
madQ in the near future, on account of said hoHp1tal
project,
IT IS THEREFORE FURTHER f{ESOLVED • ten members or the Council concurring, that the sum of $22,926.93
when depoaited with the Treasurer to tho credit of the
Ho21pi tal l''und, be and 1 t is her·eby appropriated to the
usa or the Board of Public work!!! of' this City for payment
of areh1teota• fees and further expenses in the planning
and construction of the new hospital.
The above and. foregoirA.g resolution was duly and
re~~larly introduced and passed at an adjourned meeting or the.City Council held on th~ 30th day ot December,
1929, by the·tollow1n~ vote:
