THAT WHEREAS, the Council did on the 26th aay or
Au~at, 1929, paaa ita Reaolut1on of Intention Jo. 804
to order the tollowtns work to be done; to-wit:
All that porti1;,n ot Southwood Dr! ve in the C1 t,-ot Palo Alto !rom the turning circle in said
SOuthwood. Drive to San ¥rana1squito creek, d·Jscrlbed
as follows r
BEGlNNlNG at the point of intersection of the
northwesterly line ot SOuthwood Dr1 ve and the
center 11ne of San ¥rane1aqu1to Creek; thence
North 48° 15' east along said center 11ne or San
Franciaqu1to creek 60 teet to the southwesterly
line of Southwood Drive; thence south 44° 42•
west along said southeasterly line or SOuthwood
Drive 135.6 feet to a po1nt;thenoe northeasterly
and northwest~rly along tht~ are of a circle or
radius j2 feet to a point on the northwesterly line
of Southwood Drive; thence north~astarly along said
northwesterly line of Southwood Drive 132.5 feet
to the point of beginning,
be cloaed; and
~EER~AS, the Street Superintendent of the City of
Palo Alto did th~reupon oe.use notice of the passBve of
sald resolution to be posted and published for ten days,
in th<::t ms.nn~r and fo:r•m requir.,d by law; and
WHEREAS, no objections ha•.re been filed against said
proposed wovk and improvement, and more than ten days have
elapsed after the exp1ret1on of the publication of said
notice ot tlle passage ofaaid resolution, and the City
Council haa aoqui:red jurisdiction to order said work as
proposed.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY 01-tD::;RED that all of
that portton of Southwood Dr1 ve above described be closed
and. vacated.
The abovo and foregoing rusolution was duly passed by
the Council of the Git~ of Palo Alto at a regular meeting
held on the 12th dny of ~ovembt)~, 1929, by the following vote:
