The Council of the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE aa followa:
WHEREAS. certain negotiations between the Southern
Pacific Company and the City of Palo Alto 1n connection with
the improvement o1' University Avenue between the southweaterly
line of Alma Street and the northeasterly line ot El Camino
!teal. under Resolutio.l of Intention No. '71}9. have been made.
reference to ·nhich resolution is hereby made;
NOW THJ:O:liliFORE, be it resolved, that said matter is
placed in the hands of the Board or Public Works of the City
of Palo Alto and Mr. llobart of the Plaza Committee to carry on
eaid negotis.tions and recommend on same Oeto'ber 18, 1929. and
to sign and execute all contracts necessary for the same.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly passed
by the Council of the C1ty of Palo Alto on the 14th day of
October, 1929, by the following vote:
