RESOLU'L'ION TO CLOOE TW!';N'l"t :FOOT ALU.'Y IN BLOCK IN CLARA VISTA TRACT
The council of the City or Palo Alto to RESOLVE
aa follows:
That it is the intention of th!e Council to order
the following public alley to be closed; to-wit: all or
that twenty foot alley running from llelville Avenue to
Harriet Avenue in center of block in Clara Viata Tract,
which Block ia bounded by Melville, Gr~enwood, Harriett,
and Marker Avenues.
The Street superintendent shall post notice at public work in the manner and form as provided by the Street
Opening A~t hereinafter refex·red to, and shall also publish
a notice of said public work for a period of ten dayw in the
DAILY PALO JJ.. '£0 T!llliS, a daily r..ewapaper published and
circulated 1n the City of Palo Alto, and which tho Council
hereby designates ae tho ne~spaper in Which the Street
Superintendent's notice of the passage or this Resolution
shall be published.
All of the her61n proposed work shall be done in
pura~nce of an Act of the Legislature of the State of
Ca.l1fornia, entitled "An Aet to Provide for the Laying Out.
Openl.ng. Extending, Widening, Stl~aightening oi.' Closing Up,
in Whole or in Part, of any Street. Square, Lane, Alley,
Court of Place within a Municipality. and to Condemn and
Acquire any and 8.11 Landt and .Property Necessary or Con-venient for that Purpose , approved Ma1•ch 6, 1889, as
said Act has been amended to date.
The above and forego1n.g resolution was d.uly passed by the Council of the o1ty of Palo Alto at a regular
meeting held on the 14th day of October. 1929, by the rollo'ting vote:
