RESOLUTION OF 'l'HE :OO!PJJ OF PUBLIC SAFETY ESTABLISB.I.NO A STAND FOR THE Vl."T'ERANS' HOSPITAL BU£ Tho Board ot Public Safety of the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE as follows: That a bus stand, appropriately m~rked as designated by the Chief or Police~ at the expense or th8 bua owner, b~ ~atablishad for the bus line running between Palo .A.l to and the United States Veterans' Hospital No. 24, be located as follows: un the southwest•rly aide of Alma Street, comxa~neing at a P'Jlnt 140 feet 110utheaat of the point of intersection or tbu southwesterly curbline of Alma Street with the projection of the southeasterly property line of Lytton Avenue; thence southeasterly alcng tu) southwesterly curbl1ne of Jdma :;)treet, 36 feet. The above and foreg~1ng resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety held on the 1st day of July, 1029, and was thttreupon duly passed by the following vote: AYES: Seale, Mra. UTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBUC SAFETY RELATIVE 'TO IJJS STAND F'OR tnUTED STATES VE'rimANS' HOSPITAL !JJS: The Council of the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE as follows: THAT ~\'HEREAS, the Board of Public Safety has, this lst day of July, 1929, passed a resolution granting the United Stated Veterans• Hospital line a stand, placed upon Alma Street, in accordance with the provisions of Codified Ordinance No. 3 relative to the powers of the Board of Public Safety in relAtion to traffic: NOW THEEEFORE, be it RESOLVED tha.t the above and foregoing resolution of the Board of Public Safety 1s hereby approved.
