The council of th& City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE
as followa:
THAT WHEREAS-the Council cUd, in open session
on the 28th day or June, 1929, publicly open, examine
and doclar• all seal•d proposals or bids tor doing thl
work and improvement in said Clty, as de8cribed by
Resolution of Intention. No. '"141 of the Council of the
City of Palo Alto, passed on the 14th day or May, 1929,
which resolution of intention ~ hereby expressly
referr~d to for further particulars:
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that said Council of the
City of Plllo Alto hereby rejocts all of aa~Ld proposals
or bids except that herein mentioned, and herebJ
6wards the contract for doing said work and making
said improvement to the lowest, regular responsible
bidder, to·w1t: M. s. HANRAHAN, at the prices named
1:n his bid.
The Clerk of the City or Palo Alto ia hereby
directed to publish notice of said award or said contract
twice in the Daily Pal4 Alto Times, a daily newspaper
of general circulation published and circulated 1n
said City of Palo Alto~ and hereby designated tor that
purpose by said Council.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly
introduced and paaaed at a regular meeting of the
Couno1l or the City or Palo Alto held on the first day
of July, 1929, by the following vote:
