lv!!EREAS. the City of Palo Alto has entered into
n~gotiations to pu:rchase four acres of land, more or less
from WONG WO SAN who holds said lAnd 1..muor a contract of
sale from ALFRED SEALF.. said purchase by the City to be
ms.de ut the agreed price of :jli300.00 per acre, which said
land is dvscribed as follows:
That certain tract of land situate near the
c·ity of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, Stat~ of
California, bounded by the lands of Peter Faber on the
North, by the lands of the City of Palo Alto on the East,
by ihd ~mbarcadero Road en the South, and by the land of
Alfred Seale on the Vleet:
NOW, Tl-IEHEl-~RB, this Council doe a: horeby
autt.orize the purchase of sale land abovo deecr1bed,
and that said land be paid for at thtJ rate of :~300.00
~Jer acre, tho deod to said land aHd tha purchase price
to be pls.ced in escrow, until the City of Palo Alt.o has
received !-!. policy of insurance on said 1and from on
abstract company •
