Th~ Council oi the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE
as follows:
'iv'HEREAS, an Act of' the Legislature approved
June 6, 1913, provides for the establishment of harbors
and hnrbor lines upon navigs.b~ e waters within munietpal:!.-
ties~ but fails to provide for tho establishment of
harbors and.harbor lines upon lands owned by the City
and 1~~ediately adjacent thereto; and,
W"HEREAS, it .ts desirable that cities owning
.Uch lands for harbor purposes should be enabled to
receive the ndvantae;oe provided for in said Act for the
establishment of harbors and harbor lines:
NO'N, THEREFORE, this Cou.nc11 does hereby approve
the passage of the proposed amendment, giving to cities
the rippt to uae said Act of June 6, 1913 in relation
to lands and harbors owned by such cities, where the
same are adjacent or nesr to th·~ exterior boundaries of
such cities.
:t hereby certify the.t the above and foregoing
resolution was duly passed by the Council of the City
of Pe.lo Alto, tj.t. n special meeting held on the 15th day
of l''ebr'!.Hl.ry 1929 by u unanimous vote.
