A~D SIDEWALK CORNERS UNDER RESOLUTION Oli' INTENTION NO .717.
The Council of the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE
e.s follows:
THAT WHEREAS, the Council did, on the 14th day
cf January, 1929~ pasa its Resolution or Intention No.
717, to order the hereinafter described work and improvement
to be made ln said City, which resolution of intention
wa.s duly e.nd regularly published at the time 1md 1n the
manner and form as required by the !mprovem~nt Act of 1911,
•~ appears from the affidavit of Veronica Olofaen, principal
clerk or the printer and publisher of the Daily Palo Alto
Timee, now on file in the office of the City Clerk o1'
said City: and1
~~REAS, notices of the pas8age of the Resolution
of Intention No. 71'1', headed "NCTICE OF U~PROVEME~lT" were
duly and regularly posted along the line of said
contemplated work and improvement, at the time, and in the
manner and form, and in the numbers required after the
passage of said Resolution of Intention, as appears from
the affidavit of FREl> R. INGRAM, who personally posted the
same, and who, upon completion of th~3 posting of said
not1cos, forthwith filed said ~ff1dav1t in the office or
the City Clerk, making oath that he completed the posting
of suid notices on the 22nd day of January, 1929; and,
'liHEREAS, there were no protests or objections
presented to be disposed of, at the time and in the manner
a.nd form as rel{u1red by law:
NOW, THEREFORE, this Council finds that the fora-
r,oing red. tal of facts .is true a.rld t:hat it has jurisdiction
to order tho work done, and the Council of the City of
Palo Alto DO RE30LVE ae follows:
That the public l.ntere Ht and necessity require
the work hereinafter described, and the Council hereby
orders the following work to be done and improvement to
