APPROVING ASSESS7.~ll'T M._ THE !MPRC'lEMl':NT 0 F CHANNING_
,'\YENUE,IUINDA STREET AND LINCOI,N AVENUE:
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the City of Palo Alto gave
notice of the assessment made to cover the aum due for
the work performed under Reaolution of Ir.tent:ton No. 665,
for the improvement of Channing Avenue, Guinda Street
and Lincoln Avenue, which resolution vola p.ssed by t.M1
Council on the 21st day of May, 1928, reference to which
1!1 hereby made for further particulars; and,
WHEHEA3,, on the 14th day of JanuR.ry, 1929, at the
cOllncil che.m'ber at the city hall, at the hour of 7:30
p. m. was fixed as the ti~e and place for hearing any
objections to the proceedings of the Street Su,ertntendent
in making such assessment for work done and performed w1der
sn1d Rasolution of Intention ~o. 665; and,
WHEREAS, the only objectlons filed were by Byron .r.
Snow, Orla M. (Jrem and J. 'N. Hall, property owners; and
said ob,1ecticns and appeal having been duly overruled by
2a:d City Council:
NOW, THF.REF'CRE, IT I'.'. H~:!:REBY RESOLVED AND DETERMINED
by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, that said work has
been performed according to contract, in a good and
substantial manner; that no port1cn of the work wns, for
any reason, omitted or illegally included in the contract
for the same; that the asses3rnont o.nd diagram of the
Improvement Act of 1911 were correct:
WH'ERRFORE, all of the acts and determinations of
the ~treet Superintendent relative to sa1d work and 1mp~ove
ment 11nd the asses:3mtmt and d:tagra.rn are hereby a.pprCJved,
ratified and confirmed.
~ hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly adopted by the council of the City of Palo Alto at
1 ts regular meeting held on the 11th day of f'ebruary,
1929, by the following vote:
