APPK>VING ASSESSMENT FOl~ IMPIDVEMENT OF PARKINOON
ANI: SENECA:
WHEREAS, the Clerk ot the City ot Palo Alto
gave notice of the filing of the a~sessment made to
cover the sum due for the work performed under
Resolution of Intention No. 639 for the improvement or Parkinson Avenue and ssneca Street, which rasoJ.u-
tion was pnss~d by the Council on the 12th 1ay of
March 1928; and,
WHEREAS, tha 23rd day or July, 1928, at the
council chamber at the city hall, 9.t the hour of
eignt p. m. was fixed a~ the time and place for
hearing o.ny objections t.o the proceedings of the
Supo rintendent. of Streets 1n making said assessment
for work done and performed unde~ said Resolution of
Intention No. 639; and,
WHEREAS, no objection~ havt~ been made or rilad
against said assessment:
IDW, T:aER:EFORE, it is hereby RE3)L'lED and
determined~y the Council of the City of Pnlo Alto,
that aai~ork has 'been I)er!'orro.ed according to
contract,. in a good and substantial manner; that
no portio11 of the work for sny reason was omitted or
illegally included 1n the contract for the same;
that the assessment and diagram tnade 1n pu1•suance
of the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911 were
correct; wherefore all of the acta and determinations
of the Street Superintendent relative to said work and
improvement and the asaessment and diagram be and the
same are hereby approved, ratified and confirmed.
I hereby certify tl'la·t tha foregoing resolution
was hereby adopted by the Council of' t:C:e City of
Palo Alto at an adjourned regu.lar me$t1ng h.old on
the 23rd day of .:ru.~Y, 1928, by the following vote:
