The Cour1c11 of the City or Palo Alto DO RESOLVE &s tollows: THAT WF.EREAS, the Council did, on the 21st day of May, l928, pass its Resolution of Intention NoM 665 to order the hereinafter described work and improvement to be made in said City, wh1eh Resolution of Intention was duly and regularly published at the time and in the manner and form as required by the Improvement Act or 1911, as appears from the A:ff1davit of v~ron1ca Olofson, Principal Clerk of the printer and pu.blisher or the Daily Palo Alto Times, now on file in the office or the clerk of said City; and, Y..1IEREAS, notices of the passage of Resolution of lntention No. 665, headed "Notice of Improvement" were duly and regularl7 posted ·along the line ot said con·templated work and 1.nprovement, at the time, in the manner and form and 1n th6 numbers required, att&r the passage or ea.id Resolution of Intention aa appears .from the Affi<..'\a.vi.t of Arthur G. Jamee, who personally poe ted the same, and who~ upon completion of the posting of said notices forthwith f1.led said affidavit in the office of tha City Clerk, making oath that he completed the posting of said notices on the 26th day c>! The City Clerk is hereby 1irntructed to post a notice of said work, together with the plans ru1d spec1f1cations therefor, conspicuously, for five days, on or· nea.r the council chMJ:Ilbcr door of the City, inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work ordered. Said Clerk is also directed to publish, twice, a notice inviting such proposals or bids, and referring to the spec1f1cat1ons posted or on file, in the Daily Palo Alto Times, a daily newspaper published and circulated in said Ci 'ty and hereby designatt:d !'or tha.t purpo:!!e.
