RlaOLUTIOH OVERRtmING THE OBJECTIONS OF T.P • .AND J.C.
MARTIHTO THE PROPOSED WIDENING OF ASHBY AVENUE:
The council of the City of Palo Alto DO
RESOLVE aa follows:
WHEREAS, the Council ot the City ot Palo
Alto did on the 21st day ot May, 1928, have laid betore
it the objections or T. P. and J. c. Martin, property
owners ot said city_ objecting to tho propo1ed widening
of Aabby Avenue end the aaaeasment d1atr1ct created
thereby, under ReMolution ot intention #647 of said
Council.
WHEREAS, the said City Council at said meeting,
by 1t2 resolution fixed the time of hearing eaid
protests for its next ~egular meeting to be held on
the lltb. day of June, 1928, at the City Ea.ll ru the
plaee where said objectors would be given the o~portunity
to be henrd.
WHEREAS, after the passing or th.e sa.id
resolution fixing the time ot hearing the City Clerk
did on the 24tb de.7 of May, 1928,. me.11 a copy or said
raso1ut1on fixing the time of hearing to the
objectors T. P. and J. C. Martin at their law offices
in the Hunter l.Julir1 Building at Sar.1. Francisco,
postage prepaid.

of hearing on aaid objecti na and the Cour1c11 having
heard said objections and having c&ro£~11y considered
same, does hereby find that ••ld objections are and

numbered 1, 2, 8.nd ;:,, for the widening of Ashby
Avenue, be, a..'1C the same are each of th.em denied and
overru.led.

numbexed l, 2, and 3 be, and the snme er~, and each

The above and foregoing resol\tt1on was duly
passed by the council of the City of Pe.lo Alto on
tbe 11th day of June,. 1928, by the :following vote:·
