OfiDERIBG THE CLOSING OF NEVADA AVENUE:
WHEREAS. the Council did, on the 16th day
of January, 1928, pass it~ Resolution of ~ntent1on
No. 617-to ord~r the following work to be done~
to-wit:
That the portion or Nevads Avenuep ~ublie
street, lying between the northeasterly line of Ramona
Street and ·the southwesterly line of Bryant Street,
and that portion of Neveda Avenue lyir~g between the
northeasterly line of Alma Street and the south-
westerly 11.ne of High street be closod and vacated
ns a public str6et.
For furthe:r particulars, reference is hereby
made to ReBOl\l ti on of Intention No. 617 for the above
described work, on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the i.;1 ty of Pe.lo Al to.
WHEREAS, the Street ~upe:rintendent o.f the
City of Palo Alto did thereupon cause not1oe of the
passap,e of said r~solut1on to be poste~ and published
for ten days, in the manner and form r~~uired ~1 law;
and,
WHEREr·.S no objections have 'biaen filed against
said proposed work e.nd improvement, e.nd more than ten
days have elapsed after the exp1re.tion of the
publication of :ssiid nct1oe of the passage of se.id
resolution, and the City Council has e.c~uired
jurisdiction to order said worY. as proposed:
NOW, ~.'HEREFORE, It is Hel'eby Ordered that
Nevada .Avenue in the C.ity of Pnlo Alto, between the
points specified be closed and said Avenue between
said points is hereby declared to be no longer a
public street of said City.

d.uly passed by tho Gounc11 of the City of Ps.Jo Alto
et a regular meetinr. held on the 14th aay of February,
