RESOLVED,. by the Council of the C4,ty of Palo Alto, Califo rnia,
WHEREAS, the said Cou ncil did, on+�the 28th day of May, 1962,

to pu blish twice, in the palo Alto Times, a newspaper publish ed an

for the constru ction of said improvements, and refe rri ng to the
plan s and specifications on f14,0 in the of ice of said Cle rk, the
first of which publicatione.�

All proposals or bids shall be accom pa nied by a cashier's or
cer tified cheb3 paya ble to the or der of the City amounting to ter,
per Cent (1(}%) of the bid, or by a bond in said amou nt and payable
to said City, signed by the bidde r and a corpor ate sur ety or by
the bidder and two su reties who shall. justify befor e an y officer
competen t to administer an oath, in double sa id amou nt an d over
a nd a bove all statutory e xemptions,.
Said sealed p;opoeals or bids shall be deliv ered to tho City
'Clerk on or befor e 3:00 o'clock P.M. of Wedn esday, the 23rd da y of
Jan uary, 1963, said time bein g not less than ten days fr om the time
of tne first publication of said n otice. Bids will be opened,
examin ed and declared on said day and hour by the City Man ager , in
the Council Chambers, City Hall, Palo Alto, California, who shall
