WHEREAS, from all tie evidenc e submitt ed the City C ouncil of
t40e City of Palo Alto finds that said property, as desc ribed h erein
a nd in sa id Resolutio n 3581 it unnecessary for present or prospective
street purpo se-; an d
WHEREAS, the City Cou ncil hereby determines that the public
con venience and necessity required th at there be e xpressly r eserved
and excepted fro m portions of the street to be vacat ed pu rsuant to
these procee dings, unto the City of Palo Alto, its success ors and
assign s, the easements described on Exhibit A, s aid easements b ein g
for public utilities purpo ses generally.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto does hereby order tha t sa id property as described h erein
and in sa id Reso lution No. 3681 is hereby abando ned subject to the
reserv atio n of said easements u nto the City of Palo Alto, its suc-
cessors and assigns, and subject to the payme nt of all costs of
a bandonment by Daniel W. Frost, 601 Wellsbu ry Way, Palo Alto,
Ca lifor nia (Job Order No. 6158).
The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this reso lution
to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San ta Clara
Coun ty. Said resolutio n shall not: be recorded until all co sts of
aban donment shall have been paid as stated above.

distance of 10.00 feet; the nc e S. 37650'20" W. 90.00 feet; the nce
sou theasterly along the arc of a tange nt c urve to the left
hav ing a radius of 10 feet, through. a central angle of 90°09'40 ",
for an arc length of 15,74 fe et, to a point on the common divid-

N. 370 50' 20" E. alo ng said last named line 100.00 feet to the
