SECTIQ1U. The City Council herebydetermined that the public
conv en ience and necessity requires that there be expressly res erved
end ex cepted; from portions of the street to be vacat ed p ersuant
to these pr oceedings, un to the City of. Palo Alto, its successors
and assigns, an easement fo r pu blic utilities, sanitary sewer
and storm drain age purposes ,generally and without Uniting the
foregoing, per manent easements . an d rights -of -way far all the
structures and activities descr ibed, .in Streets an d Highways Code
Sectio n 8330, and as a part of said reserv ation City reserve s to

a part and a minimum of thr ee. Such n otices shall recite the
passage of this resolution and set out the time a nd pl ac e of
hearing:
SECTION 6. The Cle rk is directed to publish a c opy of this
resolution in the Palo Alto Times twice prior to the date of the
hea ring.
SECTION 7. These pr oceedings are taken u nder Division 9,
Part 3, Chapters 2 and 3 (Section s 8320 an d following) of the
Streets and Highways Code.
