RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVED BY ORDINANCE
NO . 1954 FOR APPROXIMATELY 25 ACRES AT THE INTER-
SECTION OF HAYS}1ORE HIGHWAY AND EMBARCADERO ROAD.
WHEREAS, on June 27, 1961, the City C ouncil of th e City of
Palo Alto adopted Ordin anc e No. 1954 e ntitl ed "An Ordinance Am ending
Section 3.02 of the Z oning Ordinance No. 1324 for a Ch ange of Dis-
trict Being 25 Acres at the Inters ectio n of Bayshore Highway and
Embarcadero Road from L-M:A to P -C, " and
WHEREAS, the City Council up on rec ommendation of the Planning
Commissio n is desirous of amending th e Dev el opment Pl an appro ved
by Section 3 of said ordinan ce, as provided in Secti on 16.07 of
the Zo ning Ordinance,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Coun cil of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. Sectio ns 3 a nd 4 of Ordinance No . 1954 are am ended
to read as follo ws:

"Sectio n 3. The Development Plan for a pproximately
25 acres at the Southea sterly corner of the inter-
section of Baysho re Highway and Embarcadero Road as
shown on the revised plan thereo f entitled "Revised
Deve lopment Plan" dated October 9, 1962, prepared by
John Dav is Yo ung, Ar chitect, attached he reto and made
a part of this re solutio n a nd said ordina nce as tho ugh
fully set fo rth therein is a ppro ved subject to the
following c ondition s:
1. Use.
a. Reso rt motel with banquet and convention
fa cilities (Parcel 4)
b. Administrative and research u ses, inclu ding
engineering compu ta tion and data processing
invo lving the use of electro nic c omputers and
relate d equipment (Pa rc els 1,2,3,5 & 6)
2. Acc ess satisfactory to the Fire Chief
3. Landscaping of parking are as.
4. Signs shall be reviewed informa lly by the Pla nning
Commission prio r to approval by the Zo ning
Admin istra tor.
Section 4. The Develo pment Schedule shall be as fo llow s:
a. Parcel 1: Start of constructio n on or be fore
Dece mber 15, 1962; c ompletion of
co nstruc tion and site de velo pme nt
including landscaping on or be fore
July 31, 1963.

SECTION 2. In all othe r respects not in conflict with
