RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
REQUESTING THE STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION TO COMPLETE
WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF EL CAMINO REAL TO THE
SOUTH CITY LIMITS OF PALO ALTO
The Council of the City of Palo Alt o do es RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. That this Co uncil urges the State Highw ay Commission
to co mplete the widening and improvement of El Cami no Re al in the
City of Palo Alto from Matader o Creek south to the s outh city
limits of Palo Alto.
SECTION 2. That this Council requests that such wide ning be
to a width of 120 feet and that it will at the proper time and as
requested by the Commission establish the necessary pr ocedures to
share in the financing of said project on the b asis of formulas
hereto fore approved by said Com mission
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk sen d a certified copy of this
resolution to the State Highway Commission and the Department of
Public wor ks.
