A RESOLUTION OF -A`WAJ D OJT . CONTRACT
..ARASTRADERO. ROAD,' ET AL
(EXCEPT LAURA LANE)
PROJECT NO. 60-6
RgSOLVED, by the ' Counell of the, City of Palo Alto, Calif-
ornia,.that
WHEREAS, the City Man ager did in open sessio n on the 3rd
day of October, 1962, pu blicly open, examine and declare all
sealed pr oposals or bids for the workc to be done and improvements
to be ma de, as described and specified in Resolutio n No . 3496 of
Preliminary Determin ation and of In tention a dopted by s aid Co uncil
on April 23, 19n2, (except Laura Lan e), to which resolution refe r-
ence is hereby made for a description of the w ork an d improveme nts
to be done a nd the materials, su pplies an d equ ipment to he fur-
n ished therefor.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:'.
1. That said Coun cil hereby rejects all of said proposal., s
or bids except that her ein after mentioned and hereby aw ards the
contract for doin g the wor k and improv ements a nd ;furnishing the
materials. , supplies an d equipmen t n ecessary ther efor, to the
low est respon sible bidder , to wit: Freeman Pav in g Co. , at the
unit prices na med in its bid.
2. That ;,he Mayor of said City is hereby au thorize d to
make an d en ter in to a written contr act with said su ccessful
bidder and to receiv e and approv e all bonds in connection there-
w ith, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to attest
his signa ture and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.

1 hereby certfy that the foregoing is a full, true and correct
copy of a resolution duly passed and ad opted by the City Council of
the City of Palo Alto, Califor nia, at a meeting thereof held on the
8th day of October , 1962 , by the following vote of
the members thereof:
