WHEREAS, the C ouncil of the City of Pal o Alto on January 22,
1962 by its Res ol uti on No. 3469 made ce rtain findings a nd took
certain acts preparato ry to acquiring by eminent'domain certain
lands and interest in land as set forth in Secti ons 1 through
5 of said resolution, and
WHEREAS, the City Cou ncil n ow finds that it is n ecessa ry
an d desirable to add the hereinafter described Parcel No.13 to
the parcels described in said Resol ution No. 3469,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto d oes
RESOLVE as follows:
STjON 1. The ta king of an anchor easeme nt for public utility
purposes in, ov er, u nder, acr oss and upon Parcel No . 13 is necessary
for such improvemen t, and Section 3 of Resolution 3469 is amended
accordingly. Parcel No. 13 is situst04/004 0..City of Palo Alt o,
Cou nty of Santa Clar a, State of California , and described as
fo llo ws:
A str ip of lan d of the uniform width of 5 feet lying
equally on each side of the fo llowing described center-
line:
BEGINNING at a point on the n t r ty.lin e of
Charlesto n Road, as establishe by tha t cer tain Final
Order of Co ndemn ation entered in the Su perior Co urt of

ACTION 2. All the findings, det erminatio ns, declar ati ons,
authorizatio ns, directions and other matters c ontained in
Res ol utio n 3469 shall be and are hereby mad e applicable to said
Parcel N o. 13 as if s aid p arcel had bee n included in s aid
Resoluti on originally.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the ad option of
this resolution by a vote of two thirds of all of the membe rs of
the City Council .
I hereby certify that the wh ole n umber of members of the
Council of the City of Palo Alto is fifteen and th at the fore-
go ing resolution wa s adopted by a vote of more than two-thirds
of a ll of the members of said Council at its meeting held on the
24th day of September , 1962, by the following vote:
AYES: Arno ld, Byxbee, Cr esap, Debs, Dias, Haight, Marshall,
Po rter, Rodgers, Rohr s, Rus, Stephens, Woodw ard, Zweng
