RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
DESCRIBING EASEMENT SURPLUS TO CITY'S NEEDS AND
AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO QUITCLAIM PROPERTY TO PERSON(S)
ENTITLED THERETO
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of P alo Alto that
the easement situated in the City of Pal o Alto, Co unty of
Sa nta Clara, State of California described as:
BEGINNING at the most Westerly corner of Lot 14,
as said Lot is shown on that certain MAP OF TRACT NO .
2313, TAN VILLAGE, which Map was recorded in the
Office of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara,
Sta te of California, J uly 11, 1962 in Bo ok 149 at
page 24; thence from said point of beginni ng N. 38°15'
E. along the Southeasterly line of Tanland Dri ve
13.53 feet to the true point of beginning ; thence
from said true point of begi nning 5.51°45'E. 443 .47
feet to the Northwesterly line of Ama rillo A venue;
thence a long said Nor thwesterly line of Amarillo
Avenue N. 38°15'E. 10.00 feet; thence N. 51°43'W.
443.57 feet to the Southeasterly line of T anland
Drive; thence along said Southeasterly line S. 38°15'
W. 10.00 feet to the tru e point of begi nni ng.
is surplu s to the City's needs, ha s no va lue and should be
abandoned.
Further resolved that the Mayor an d the Clerk are authorized
and directed to ex ecu te and deliver a Quitclaim deed to said
property to "the persons or person legally entitled thereto."
