RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
DESCRIBING EASEMENT SURPLUS TO CITY'S NEEDS AND
AUTHORIZING MAC: '"i TO QUITCLAIMS' PROPERTY TO PERSON(S)
ENTITLED THERETO
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that
the, easement situated in the City of Palo Alto, C ounty of
Santa Clara, State of Calif ornia desc rib ed as:
A strip of land of the uniform width of 5 feet
lying adjacent to and southeasterly of the
following described line:
BEGINNING at the most w esterly co rn er of L ot 1,
Block 1, Tract No . 1816„ a map of which was
recorded Nov ember 8, 1956 in Book 73 o .f Maps at
page 34, records of Sa nta Cla ra County, Calif ornia,
said corner being on the northeasterly, line of
Ross Road (60 feet wide); thence N. 50°23'E. along
the northwesterly line of said Lot Land its north-
easterl; prolongation 1085.27 feet toa point on
the sou thwesterly line of Louis Road (60 feet wide)
and being portions of Lots 1,13,14,15 and 16 of said
Block 1 and por tion s of Lots 1,10,11,12,13 and 14 of
Block 1 .Tract No. 1921, a map of which w as rec orded
April 30, 1957, in Book 81 of Naps at page 21, r ec ords
of said County, design ated as "5 PUE" on said maps.
Save and ex cepting therefr om:
1. That por tion thereo f lying within a 10 foot wide
pu blic utilities easement, the centerline of which
is the northeaster ly line of said Lo t 1, Bl ock 1,
Tract No. 1816, as shown on a map thereof.
2. That portion thereof lying within a 10 foot wide
pu blic u tilities easement, the centerline of which
is the northea sterly line of sa id Lo t 10, Block 1,
Tract No. 1921, as shown on a map thereof.

Fu rther resolv ed that the Mayor and the Cler k are autho rized
and dire cted to ex ecu te a nd deliver a Qu.,tclaim deed to said
property to"the person or person s legally entitled thereto."

does hereby remise, rele ase and quitclaim unt o the pe rson or
persons legally entitled thereto all its right, title and interest
in and to the property situated in the City of Palo Alto, Cou nty
of San ta Clara, State of California, described as follows:
A strip of land of the unif orm width of 5 feet
lying adjacent to and southeasterly of the foll owing
de scribed line:
BEGINNING at thv most westerly corner of Lot 1, Block 1,
Tract No. 1816, a map of which was reco rded November 8,
1956 in Book 73 of Mips at page 34, rec ords of Santa
Clara Coun ty, Califo rnia, said corner being on the
northeasterly line of R oss Road (60 feet wide); thence
N. 50.23'E. along the northwesterly line of said
Lot 1 an d its no rtheasterly p rolongati on 1085.27 feet
to a point on the southwesterly line of Louis Road
(60 fel t wide) and being portions of Lots 1, 13 14 15
and 16 of said Block 1 and portions of L ots 1,10,11,
12,13 and 14 of Block 1, Tract No . 1921, a map of
which was recorded April 30, 1957, in Book 81 of
Maps at page 21, reco rds of said C ounty, designated
as " 5'P.U.E." on said maps.
