RESOLUTION NO. 3541.tA A RESOLUTION ORDERING ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO ASSESSMENT DISTRICT UNIVERSITY AVENUE DISTRICT OFF-STREET PARKING PROJECT NO. 52-14 ORIGINAL RESOLVED, by the Council ot the City of Palo Alto, California, that WHEREAS, on July 9, 1962~ this Council adopted its Resolution No. 3533, A Resolution of Intent1or, to annex territory to the assessment dis- trict formed pursuant to Resolution of. Intention No. 2425 adopted April 13, 1953, sa1d territory being therein more particularly described; WHERE.A.~, notice was therein given that Monday, the 23rd day or July, 1962, at the hour of 7:30 o'olook P.M., in the Chambers of this Couno11, City Hall, Palo Alto, California, was f1Xed aa the time and place when all persons interested in said annexation may be heard, and it appears from the atf1dav1ts on file in the otf1oe of the City Clerk that said resolution was duly published, posted and mailed in the time, form and manner required by law; WHEREAS, a tull hearing was had on sa1d annexation, oral and docu- mentary evidence was received, and all persons desiring to be heard were fully heard and good cause appears tor the annexation or said territory to said district. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and OnDERED, as follows: l. The public interest, convenience and necessity require the acquis- j,t1ons and 1mprovementa financed 1n said Project No. 52-14 as to the prop- erty pr4oposed to be annexed, and the annexation of said territory to said district as set forth in said Resolution No. 3533, and said territory will be benefited by said acquisitions and 1mprovementsand said annexation. 2. The territory within the boundaries of the assessment district formed under Resolution of Intention No. 2411 adopted March ~,, 1953 (known as University Ayenue District Off-Street Parkirig Project No. 52-13), is hereby ordered annexed to the assessment district formed pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 2425 adopted April 13, 1953 (known as University Avenue D1str1ot Off-Street Parking Project No. 52-14). , 1 J ~ l i i' • .' {' / I ,r /' I / I I Ao'• \J ., "t •V "' ~ 3. A description ot the boundaries of said territory 1s set forth in Exhibit uA" hereto attached and incorporated herein by reference. LL All real property in said territory, except allpiolic places and ways in use in the perrormanoe of a public function, shall be sub~ ject to annual ad valorem special assessments to pay principal and interest or. assessment bonds or the said district outstanding at the time of' annexation, at the same rates at which other real property in the diDtr1ot is assessed therefor, and shall also be subject to all other liabilities and entitled to all the benefits of said district. 5.
