";'"A~i ~'. ·~~:.ti.:·:.'!'-, s 0 RESOLUTION NO. lli2 A RESOLUTION ORDERING ANNEXATIOll OF TERRITORY TO ASSF.SSMENT DISTRICT UNIVERSITY AVENUE DISTRICT OFF-STREET PARKING PROJECT NO. 52·13 ORIGINAL RESOLVED, by the Council or the City ot Palo Alto, ca11rorn1a, that WHEREAS, on July 9, 1962, this Council adopted its Resolution No. 3532, A Resolution of Intention to annex territory to the assessment dis- trict formed pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 2411 adopted March 2, 1953, said territory being therein more particularly desoribed; WHEREAS, notice was therein given that Monday, the 23rd day of July, 1962, at the hour of 7:30 o•olook P.M. in the Chambers of this Council, City Hall, Palo Alto, ca11rorn1a, was r:t.xed as the time and place when all persona interested in said annexation may be heard, and it appears from the affidavits on tile 1n the office or the City Clerk that said resolution was duly published, posted and mailed in the time, form and manner required by law; WHEREAS, a tull hearing was had on said annexation, oral and docu- mentary evidence was received, and all persons desiring to be heard were fully heard and good cause appears for the annexation or said territory to said district. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED, as follows: 1. The public interest, convenience and necessity require the ao- qu1s1t1ons and improvements financed in said Project No. 52-13 as to the property proposed to be annexed, and the annexation ot said territory to said d1str1ot as ~et forth in said Resolution No. 3532 1 and said territo- ry will be benefited by said aoqu1s1tione and improvements and said annexation. 2. The territory within the boundaries or the assessment district formed under Resolution ot Intention No. 2425 adopted April 13, 1953 (known as University Avenue District Off-Street Parking Project No. 52-14), is hereby ordered annexed to the assessment district formed pur- suant to Resolution or Intention No. 2411 adopted March 2, 1953 (known aa University Avenue District Ott-Street Parking Project No. 52-13). ,, .. • .. .. / / / I' .. / / ,1/ •• ''••' ,. ............ , .. ,~. ,,.,,,.._. All real property in said territory, except allf,Ublic places and ways in uae in the performance of ~ public function, shall be sub- ject to annual ad valorem special asseasments to pay principal and interest on assessment bonds or the said district outstanding at the time of anne.xation, at the same rates at which other real property in the district is assessed therefor, and shall also be subject to all other liabilities and entitled to all the benefits of said district. 5. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the City Assessor o.f thl~ City of Palo Alto, and with the State Board ot Equali- zation,. statements of the annexation of said territory, setting forth the legal description of the boundaries of said territory, together . with a map or plat del.ineating said annexed area, pursuant to Section 54900 et seq. of the Government Code. * * * * * I hereby cert1.fy the foregoing to be a true copy of Resolution adopted oy the Couno1l of the City of Palo Alto, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of July _, 1962, by the following vote of the mem'Sers thereof': AYES .. , and in favor thereof, Councilrnen: Arnold, Bishop, Cresap, Debs, Dias, Haight.
