RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ACKNOltEDGING THE RECEIPT OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO
ClRCUIA'l'E A PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS " EL CAMINO ANNEXATION NO. 6" AND AN
AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION THEREOF AND APPROVING THE
CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION
WHEREAS, on May 15, 1962, there was filed with the City Clerk
of the City of Palo Alto a copy of a notice of intention to
circulate a petition relating to annexati.on of certain territory
to the City of Palo Alto, under the Annexation Act of 1913, per-
taining to territory designated as "El. Camino Annexation No. 6':
with an affidavit of ,publication of said notice in the PALO ALTO
TIMES; and
WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the legis·
lative body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of the
notice and approving the circulation of the petition;
NCM, THEREFOREt BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Palo Alto:
l. That the receipt of the notice, stat~ment and affidavit is
hereby acknowledged, and that approval is hereby given for the
circulation of the petition for annexation of that territory
designated as "El Camino Annexation No. 6,11 twenty-one days after
the publication of said notice and statement.
2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
