RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING THE FINAL MAP OF TRACT NO. 3224
The Council of the City of Palo Alto RESOLVES as follows:
WHEREAS, Section 11004 of the Business and Professions
Code of the State of California provides that a conununity apart~
ment project in which an undivided interest in the land is
coupled with the right of excJ.usive occupancy of .any apartment
located thereon is subject to the provisions of the Subdivision
Map Act of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Attorney General has ruled that said Section
and the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act apply with equal
force to so-called condominium or vertical subdivisions; and
WHEREAS, a subdivision map designated Tract No. 3224,
Cond<.')minium Subdivision of Apartments at 518 and 528 Everett Avenue
being a portion of Lot l, Block 36, University Park, has been
submitted to the City for its approval; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palo Alto
has heretofore approved said subdivision map and has recommended
that it be approved by this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE~ Be it Resolved that that certain subdivision
map designated as Tract 3224, Condominium Subdivision of Apartments
be and it is hereby approved.
