RESOLUTION NO. 3513
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO MAKE FUND TRANSFER
STREET LIGHTING RECONSTRUCTION DISTRICT III
PROJECT NO. 54-8
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, that
WHEREAS, after the completion of all acquisitions and
:lmprovements in proceedings conducted pursuant to Resolution of
In'tention No. 2671, adopted November 14, 1955, and the payment of

all expenses incidental thereto, there is a surplus in the Improve~
ment Fund in the total amount of $3,542.25;
WHEREAS, more than four ~rears have expired since the final
completion of the project and payment of aJ.l costs and expenses
thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That the public interest, convenience and necessity
require, and that lt is the intention 1Jf :Jaid Council to transfer
sa:td surplus from the Impr'ovement :Pund for said project to the
General Fund of' the City.
2. That it: is the furth~r intention of said Council to
appropriate said funds, after their transf'er to the General Fund,
t:o purposes of benefit to the properties within the bounda.ries of
the assessment district formed pursuant to said Resolution of
Intention.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Monday, the 25th_ day Of
~~~~~~--J-u~n-e.__~~~--' 1962, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock
P. M. in the reguJ.ar meet;ing place of said Council, Council
Chambers, City Hall, Palo AltoJ California, are hereby fixed as
the time and place when and where said Council will cons1der the
matter er making said transfer and hearing all protests and
persons interested therein.

The City Glerk of said City shall cause a copy of this
Resolution to be publ:tshed twice 1n the Palo Alto Times_. a news-
paper of' gene:::•al circulation published 1n said City, and cause
a copy thereof to be posted on the bullet:tn board near the Counci
Chambers in the City Hall, the .fi:rst of sa1d publicatlons and
said posting to be a.t least ten days before said day of hearing.
