A RESOLUTION OF PRBLIMINARY Dml:ERMIN.ATION AND OF INTBNTIO!:

3. Whenever any public way is herein referred to as running

said grades are hereby changed and that said work will be done to
said changed grades.

1n nature. All items of work do not necessarily extend for the
full length or the de~cript~on thereof. The plans and profiles of
the work and the maps and description& or the acquisitions, as
contained in the .Engineer's report, shall be oo~troll1ng aa to the
correct and detailed description thereof.
9. Said contemplated aoqu1s1t1ons and improvements, in the
opinion or this Council, are or ,more tha.n local or ordinary public
benefit and aa1d Council does hereby make the costs and expenses
thereof chargeable upon an assessment district, which district
said Council declares to be the district benefited by said acquisi-
tions and improvements, the exterior boundaries or which are
described ae the coterminous exterior boundaries of the composite
and consolidated area of all parcels of property fronting on said
proposed acquisitions and improvements, more particularly shown on
a map thereof 1dentif'1ed as "Assessment Diagram., Improvement Projec

which indicates by a boundary line the extent of the territory in-
cluded in the proposed district and which shall govern for all
details as to the extent of the assessment district •

10. Said Council further deelaree that all public streets,

11. Notice 1B hereby given that serial bonds to represent
unpaid assessments, and. bear interest at the rate or not to exceed
six per cent (6%) per annum, will be issued hereunder in the manne
provided 1n Bond,. Plan :a, Article 3, Chapter 6, of Ordinance No .
. 1928, The Palo Alto Improvement Procedure Code,

13. Said acquisitions and improvements are hereby referred
to the City Engineer or said City, as the officer ha:v1ng charge
and coi1t:rol of the acquisition and. construction of public improve-
ments ,1n anc:l :t'or said City of the kind described herein, being a
competent person employed by said City for that purpose; and said
C1ty Engine~r is hereby directed to make and file with the City
Clerk of' said City a report in writing presenting the following:
a) Maps and descriptions of the lands, easementa and
property to be acquired;
b) Plans and spec11'1cations of' the px•opoeed improvement
