bids for the conetruct1on or said improvements, and referring to

tbe r~st of which publications shall be at least ten (10) days
p~ior to th~ t1!ne :fixed for .opening bids.
All pr-opo.aals or bids shall be accompanied by a cashier 1 s or
certified cheok payable to the order of the City am~unting to ten
per cent (10%) or the bid, or by .a bond 1.n said amo·1.1nt and payable

bidder and two sureties who shall justify before any officer eompe
tent to administer an oath, 1n double said amount and over and
above all statutory exemptions.
