A RESOLUT/ON ORDIRINQ CHANGES
AND MODIFICATIONS
WELLSBURY WAY, ET AL.
PROJECT NO. 60-1
RESOIVED, by the Cou ncil of the City of Palo Alto, C ali-
forn ia, that
WHEREAS, on April 23, 1962, this Council ad opted its
Resolution No. 3493 of Intention to Make Cha ng es and M odification
w herein it did pr eliminarily determi ne that the public inte rest,
convenience and necessity r equire and th at it i nte nds to orde r
certain changes and modificatio ns therein particularly desc rib ed,
in the pr oceedin gs being co nducted under Re solution No. 3479 of
Preliminary Dete rmination an d of Intention adopted by this
Council on March 26, 1962;
WHEREAS,, pur suan t to sa id Reso lu tion No. 3493 notice has
bee n duly given of the time an d place w he n and where said Cou ncil
will con sider and finally determ in e whether the public interest,
conve nience and necessity requ ire said changes, and whe n a nd
where it w ill con sider and finally* act upon the matter of making
said changes an d modification s a nd when an d where it will hear
all pr otests in r elation ther eto; an d
WHEREAS, persona interested appeared or filed
written protests against said proceedin gs or any part thereof
a nd all persons desirin g to be hear d. were° given an opportunity
to be hea rd, and all matters and thin gs pertaining to sa id
changed an d m odifications w ere fu lly hear d an d con sidered by
this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT I3 FOUND, DETERMINED an d ORDERED, as
follows:
1. That all pr otests and objectio ns be , and they a re
hereby, overruled.
2. Th at the public int erest, con venie nce and necessity
require said changes and m odifications as set forth in Resolution
No. 3493 of Intention to Make Chang es and Modifications adopted
by t..is Council on April 23, 1962.
3. That the followi ng ohangeb and modifications are he.,eby
orde red to be made and had, to -wit:
i. Realignment of May vie w Aven ue cul-de-sac as
described in Paragraph 1 of said Resolutio n No. 3491.
ii. Elimination of the turning curve in Christine
Drive as descr ibed in Paragr aph 2 of s aid Resolution No . 3493
iii. Elimination of the turning curve in the c enter of
Mira nda Green, but otherwise .,o acquire and const ruct all
impr ovem ents on Mira nda Green as desc ribed in Resolutio n
No. 3479 of Preliminary Determination and of I nte ntion.
