6. Said work, acquisition s an d impr ovements are mor e par -

the widening of A raotrade ro Road from El
Camino Real to the So uthern Pacific Railroad
right-of- way to a minim um width of 75 feet
and a maximum width of 80 feet, and the
improving there of by g rading, removi ng t rees,
buahea and existi ng struct ures, const ructing
or recon structing Po rtland cement co nc rete
curbs, gutters, side walks a nd d rivew ay ap rons,
constructing base pavement and wearing s ur-
face, an d installing stre et light f acilities,
storm dra inage catch basins, i nlet struct ures
an d a ppu rtenances, and a 20 -inch water pipe
line and appu rtenances.
b) The aoqu ieition and opening of Laur a La ne
to a right-of-w ay width of 60 feet from East
Ba yahore Roa d easter ly a bou t 440 feet, and
the improv ing thereof by grading and the
oonstruction therein of base pavement a nd
wearing surface, sanitary sewer m ains, man-
holes, wye branches, laterals an d appurte-
nances, the constru ction of Portland cement
concrete curbs, gutters, sidewa lks, driveway
a prons, utility laterals and services as
required, a nd the oon etr uotion of storm
drain pipee, catch ba sins an d appu rtenanc es
across the easterly term inu s of sa id Lan e
then oe contin uing easter ly in an e asemen t
to be aoquired herein about 204 feet.

d) Diagram showing the assessment district above referred to,
and also the boundaries a nd dim ensio ns of the resp ective a ubdivi-
siona of land within said dist rict as the m ama existed at the time
of the pasaage of this Resolution, eaoh of which s ubdivisio ns
sha ll be given a sep arate number upo n s aid diagr am;
e) A proposed assessme nt of the total amount of the coats
a nd expen ses of the p roposed a cquisitio ns and improvements up on
the sev er al su bdivisions of land withi n amid distri ct in p ropo r-
tion to the estimate d benefits to be r eo eiv ed by such subdivisions,
respectively, from sa id acquisitions and impro vements, and of the
ex penses inciden ta l thereto.
14. If an y excess shall be reali zed from the ass essment it
shall be spent for the maintenance of acid acqui sitions and
Iiiapr ovemen ts un less the Cou ncil shall hereafter determi ne that
sa id amou nt, or an y pa rt the reof, sha ll be applied as a o redit to
saoh assessmen t herein.
