ADOPTING BUDGET FOR EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES
WHEREAS, a master agreement has been exec uted by the City
of Palo Alto , he reinafter referred to as
the city, a nd the State Department of Public Works, Divisi on of
Highways, hereinafter referr ed to as the department, on
March 13 , 1961, for expenditure of state allocated
funds; an d,
WHEREAS, a project statemen t has been prepared and was
submitted to the depa rtment on Marsh 28 , 19 62 sh owing
the estimated xpe ditur ee of auoh fu nds recomme nded Tom e made
during the 1902 - fiscal year; and,
WHEREAS, a budget, approve d by the department on Ap ril 4
1962,_has been presented to the city council in accordance with
the project statemen t su bmitted by the city; and,
WHEREAS, the oity coun cil has hear d read said budget, as
approved by the departmen t, and is familiar with the contents
thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City
of Palo Alto that eaid budget be en d is
her eby adopted as the bu dget of ex penditures r ecommended to be
made fro m such funds du ring the 19A2L-Ai2L fiscal year.
