A RESOLUTION ORDERING.REDUCTION OB ASSESSMENT AND CREDIT
FOOTHIL4S 4N TION NO. 2

RESOLVED, by the Counnil of the City.of Palo Alt o,
California, that
WHEREAS, original Diagram and.,$sseeament No . 40, confi rmed
arid reworded. pursuant t® Reaolutigq,:M . .,32w0..of Preliminary Deter-
mina tion and of In tention, adopt ed by this Council on June 27,
1960, was $4,034.20, computed on the basis of 1.96 acres, which
acreage w as obtain ed fr om the re cords in the office of the County
Asses sor;
WHEREAS, a true acreage of slid Wool, ascertained since
the original spr ead of said assessment, is 1.536 acr es, and a
computation of the asse ssment based on the true acreage would
have produced a figure of $3,262.36, or a r eduction of $771 .84;
WHEREAS, the origin al figu re gf $4,Q34.20 inol .ud ed a
$175.00 connection oharge, which .would al®o be applicable to the
new figure, so that the amount appearing on the Liet of Unpaid
Asae eemente is $3,.859. 20, which should have been $3,087.36;
WHEREAS, the first in stallment of prin cipal a nd inte rest,
based on the higher amount, has been inclu ded in the tax bills
for the fiscal year 1961-62, and the first in stallmen t ther eof
has been paid.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as fo llows:
1. Said Assessment No. 40 is her eby r educed from $4,034.2(
to $3,262.36.
2. The List of Un paid Assessmen ts on file in the office
of the City Treasurer shall be amended to show the amoun t of
$3,087. 36 instead of $3,859.20, and Resolution No. 3328, A Reso-
lution Determin in g Unpaid Assessments an d Providing for Issuan ce

of Bonds, ad opted by this Cou ncil on Jan uary 9, 1961, is hereby
amended to show the sa me co rrecti on on the List of U np aid Asseos-
ments att ached the ret o as Exhibit " ,AM.
3. The Auditor's record for said project sh all be re-
computed ca. the bit,4,a of $3,087 .36. a nd .th e- amount ,of differenc e
betw een X amount that; actually appe ars on the tax rolls for the

5. The City Controlle r, City Tre asu rer and City Assessor
are authorized and directe d to take such action as is n ecessary
to pu t this Resolutio n in due effect.
