RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
DECLARING BUILDINGS AT 151, 155, 157, 159, 163 AND
165 UNIVERSITY AVENUE TO BE A NUISANCE AND DIRECTING
THE ABATEMENT THEREOF BY DEMOLITION PURSUANT TO
STIPULATION
WHEREAS, there has been ente red int o an Agreement and
Stipulatio n in writing for the d emolition of th e buildings at
151, 155, 157, 159, 163 and 165 Unive rsity A venue, which
docume nt is affix ed hereto and marked EXHIBIT A;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is he reby r esolv ed by the City C ouncil
of the City of Pa lo Alto as follow s:
Section 1. Said Agreemen t and Stipu lation is her eby ap prov ed
and the Mayor is au thorized to execute the sa me on behalf of the
City.
Sectio n 2. Said Agr eement and Stipulatio n is incorpo rated in
an d made a part of this Resolu tion, an d sa id buildings are her eby
order ed razed and r emov ed in accordance with the provision s thereof.
Se ction 3. The City Clerk is directed to cause this re solution
or a certified copy thereof to be reco rded in the o ffice of the
County Recorder of San ta Clara County.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED: Mar ch 26, 1962 by una nimous voice vote.
