RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
DECLARING CERTAIN SEALE-WOOSTER CANAL PROPERTY TO
BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
DEEDS THERETO
The City Council of the City of Pal o Alto do es RESOLVE as
follo ws:
Se ctio n 1. The property of the City commonly known as c ertain
Seale -Wooster Canal property, the p artic ul ar p arcels of which are
shown on the map affixed hereto marked EXHIBIT A and the particular
de scriptions of which a re shown on the c opies of th e Quitclaim Deeds
affix ed to the original of this resolution, all of whi ch d ocuments
ar e incorpora te d in this reso lution by refer ence, is he reby declared
to be no longer nee ded for corpor ate or public purposes.
Section 2. The Mayor is her eby authorized to execute a
Quitclaim Deed to eac h of said parcels to the per son or persons
name d on the copies of quitclaim deed affixe d here to, and ea ch of
said deeds may be de liver ed to the grantee(s) thereof upon th e
receipt on behalf of the City of a considera tio n of $50.00 in the
case of each parcel.
