RESOLUTION NO. 3468
A RESOLUTION DETSEMININO CONVENIXNCE AND NECESSITY
AND ORDERING CHANGES AND MODIF/CATIONS
CALIFORNIA AVENUE DISTRICT
OFF-3TRERT PARKING PROJECT NG. 604
RESOLVED, by the Co uncil of the City of Palo Alt o,
Califor nia, that
WHEREAS, on Novembe r 27, 1961, this Co uncil ad opt ed its
Resolu tion No. 3454 of Preliminary Determi nation and of Inte ntion
to Make Chan ges an d Mo difications, wherei n it did p reliminarily
deter min e that the pu blic interest, co nve nience a nd necessity re-
quir e, and that it intends to order ce rtai n chang es a nd modifica-
tion s therein par ticu la rly described, in the p roceedi ngs being
con ducted under Resolution No. 3362, A Resolution of P relimin ary
Determination an d of In te ntion adopted by this Co uncil on
Febru ary 27, 1961;
WHEREAS, pur eua nt to said Resolution No. 3454, notic e has b een:
duly given of the time an d place when an d where sa id Council will
con sider and finally determ ine'whether the public in ter est, conve n-
ience an d ne cessity require said chan ges, and when and where it
will con sider an d fin ally act u po n the m atter of making said changes
and modifica tions, and w hen an d where it will hear all pro tests in
relation ther eto; and
WHEREAS, no per sons intereste d appeared or filed .
written protests against said pr oceedings or any pa rt thereo f and
all persons desirin g to be hea rd were given an opportunity to be
heard, and all matters an d things per taining to sa id changes and
modifications were fully heard an d con sidered by this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED, an
follow s:
1. That all pr otes ts and objections be, a nd they are here by,
ov erruled.
2. That the public inte rest, conveni ence and necessity
require ch anges and modific ations in the acq uisitions to be made
J and work to be done under s aid Resol utio n of Preliminary D etermina
tion an d of Intention, by s ubstituting th e p roperty described in
Exhibit "A" hereto att ached and incorp orated herei n by reference,
in place of that proposed to be acqui red as Pa rcel 9-C.
3. That said changes and modifications are hereby orde red
to be made and had all as more particularly s et f orth in pa ragraph
2 above.

that certain Fin al Order of Condemnation recorded Oct ober 2, 1950
in Book 2065 of Official Records at page 392, Records of Santa
Clara Cou nty, California, distant th ereon northeaste rly 1 .50 feet
from the paint of in tersection thereof with the so uthwesterly
line of Lo t 11, Pau l Su rv ey, a map of which was recorded July 9,
1867 in Boc k C of Miscellaneous Records at page 641, Records of
said County; thence southeas terly, par allel to said south westerly
line, 125.00 feet to a point on the no rthwesterly li ne of
Califo rnia Avenue (90.00 fe et wide); thence northeasterly along
said line of Califor nia Avenue, 10.00 feet; thence north westerly,
par allel to said southeasterly line, 125. 00 feet to a point on
it
sa id eoutheasterly line of said 10 -foot w ide str ip of land; the nce
southwesterly along said last-named line 10.00 feet to the point
of beginn ing, being a portion of sa id Lot 11.
