WHEREAS, a Mast er Ag re ement has bee n pr es ent ed to be entered into
be twe en the State of Calif ornia and the. City of P al o Alt o f or the expenditu re of
the Engin eerin g Allocation to Cities; a nd
WHEREA S, the City Council has he ard re ad said Agr eement in full and
is fa milia r with the contents the reof; and
WHEREAS, a budge t pr oposal for the expenditure of funds allocated unde r
Sec tio n 2107. 5 of the Stre ets and Highways Code f or the fiscal ye ar endi ng
June 30, 1963, ha s be en prepare d for presentation to th e State of C alifornia;
NOW, THEREF ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Cou ncil of th e City
of Palo Alto that said budget pro posa l be and it is hereby adopted as the b udget
of pro posed expenditures of the En gineering Allo catio n to Cities, and said budget
propo sal be and the same is hereby approved and the Ma yor is directed to sign
the same on beha lf of said City, sa id budget pro po sal to be binding upon the
City upo n its approva l by the autho rized officials of the State.
