RESOLUTION OF T}iE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
WITHDRAWING PROPERTY FROM THE FREMONT FIRE DISTRICT
(BAYSHORE-SAN ANTONIO ANNEXATION) BECAUSE OF ITS
ANNEXATION TO AND INCLUSION WITHIN THE CITY OF PALO
ALTO
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. The f ollo wing p roperty described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto a nd by reference made a part he reof h as by
annexation be co me a part of th e City of Palo Alto, said portion
being in the Coun ty of Santa Clara, Stat e of C alifor nia .
Section 2. Su ch property is her eby withdraw n from Fremo nt
Fire Distr ict pursu ant to the provisions of Section 14540 of the
Health a nd Safety Code.

All that certain real p roperty situated in the County of Santa
Clara, State of Califo rnia, and bounded by the f oll owi ng des cribed
line:
Beginnin g at an iro n pipe set through a r edw ood post at the
Easterly corner of that certain 2.416 acre p arc el of land conveyed
by Lette W. DeFor est et al. to Gi acomo A rmanasco by D eed dated
December 14, 1934 and recorded December 29, 1934 in Book 715 of
Official Reco rds, at page 238, Records of said County, said iro n
pipe being set at a point in the commo n bou ndary line between th e
City of Palo Alto an d the City of Los Altos; thence al ong the
Corporate Limits Line of the City of Los Altos Southwest erly and
Southea ster ly to the point of intersectio n thereof with the Corp orate
Limits Line of the City of Mou nta in View, said Corpo rat e Limits
Line bein g also the Northeasterly pro lo ngation of the center line of
Sa n Antonio Av enue; thence S. 6° 00' W. along said center line 1174 .26
feet to a mon umen t in the Southwesterly line of Bayshore Highway as
described in the Deed to the Sta te of Californ ia, dated December 1,
1932 and re corded August 12, 1933 in Boo k 662 of Official Recor ds,
at page 130, Rec ords of said Co unty, said Southwesterly line being
also the Corporate Limits Line of the City of Palo Alto; thence alon g
the last named City Limits Line Northwesterly, Northea sterly an d
Southeaste rly to the point of beginnin g, co nta ining 32. 2 acr es, more
or less.
