RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AUTHORIZING REMOVAL OF PARKING METERS FROM DOWNTOWN
LOTS LEASED FOR ATTENDANT PARKING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, City has leased Uni versity Avenue Parking Dist rict
lots C, D, F, M, N and 0 to Downt own Palo Alto, Inc., for the
conductin g of an attendant parki ng pr ogram there on pu rsu ant to
that certain lease da ted December 1, 1961; and
WHEREAS, said Lo ts are included in p arki ng meter zon es here-
to fo re established pursuan t to Sec. 19.171 of Codified Ordina nce
No. 5 and the City Manager has installed pa rki ng m eters up on the
same pur suant to Sec. 19.171 of said ordinance:
NOW THEREFORE, the City Co uncil RESOLVES as f ollows:
Sectio n 1. The City Ma na ger is her eby au thorized to remove
the parking meters from said lots C, D, F, M, N and 0 as p ossession
of the same is given to the lessee pursuant to said lease dat ed
December 1, 1961, and to keep the same removed therefro m for so
long as said lo ts r espectively are su bject to said lease.
