RESOLVED, by the Co uncil of the City of Palo Alto, California,
WHEREAS, on January 23, 1961 this Council adopted its Resol u-
tion No. 3340 of Preliminary Det erminations and of Inte ntio n to
Make Chan ge s and Modifications, wherei n it did prelimin arily
deter mine that the pu blic interest, con ve nie nce and necessity
r equir e, and that it in tends to order ce rtain cha nges and modifica-
tions therein pa rticularly descr ibed', in the proceedi ngs being
con du cted under Resolu tion No. 3231 of Preliminary Deter mination
an d of Inten tio n, adopted by this Coun cil on July 27, 1960;
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution No. 3340, notice h as
been duly given of the time, an¢ plao s,w hen and whe re said Council
will aorisider and' "#'.nally 'determine whether the pu blic interest,
conv enience and n ecessity r equire said change s, a nd when and wher e
it will consider and finally act upon the ma tter of ma kin g said
chan ges and m odifications and when and wher e it w ill ;tear all
protests in re la tion ther eto; and
WHEREAS, no persons in ter ested a ppeared or file d
wr itten protests against` said proc eedings or any part thereo f an d
all persons desiring toibe heard wer e giv en an oppor tunity to be
hea rd, and all matters a nd things per taining to said changes a nd
modification s were fu lly hear d and con sidered by this Co un cil.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DET ERMINED and ORDERED, as
follows:
1. That all pr otests and objections be, an d they are here by,
ov erru led.
2. That the public i nte rest, conveni ence and necessity re-
quir e said ch anges a nd modifications as set forth in Res olution No.
3340 of Prelimin ary Dete rmination a nd of Inte ntion to Make Changes
an d Modifications adopted by this Counoil on Jan uary 23, 1961.
3. Tha t said ch anges and m odifi cations a re hereby o rder ed
to be made a nd had, all as mo re partic ularly s et fo rth in said
Resolution No. 3340.

I hereby cer tify that the foregoing is a full, true and
corr ect copy of a r esolu tion duly passed and adopted by the
Council of the City of Palo Alto, Ca lifornia, at a m eeting
thereof held on the 13th da y of Febru ary, 1961, by the following
