RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
that
!MESAS, this 00Uncf l did,' on Deceibe r 12J 1961, ' adopt its
Resolution No. 3327 of Prelimin ary Dete rmi nation and of Inte ntion
to constr uct pu blic improvements in and for said City;
WHE REAS, on January 23, 1961, this Co uncil adopted a resolu-
tion appointing time and pla ce of hearing protests in relatio n to
the pr oposed acquisitions and impro vements and..direoting notice;
WHEREAS, notice wa s given of the time and place therei n st at ed
in -tae ma nn er provided by law , as appears from the affidavits on
fl , M' the ot$ ee `'of the City Clerk;
NUMEAS, said matter came on regular ly fo r hearing at the
time therein fix ed; an d
WHEREAS, all written protests and other written commu nications
wer e pu blicly r ea d at said meetin g and all perso ns desirin g to be
heard were fully hear d;
NON, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. Mat written protests against sa id acquisition s and
impr ovements signed by the owne rs of a ma jority or more of the
area of the lands within the assessment district, or of the a rea of
the la nds w ithin the assessment district assessed for the costs and
ex pen ses of said wor k, w ere not filed with the City Clerk at or
before the time set fo r hearing.
2. That said protests be, and each of them a re hereby,
o verr uled.
