RESOLVED, that it ie the intention of

followins work to be done and improvement to be
made in said oity, to-wit:
Section l~ (a) The oonetruction o! a
24 inch conoret6 storm water sewer on W&verley
Street between University Avenue and Lytton Avenue,
1noluding the removal of the 12 inoh eewer now in
•place, with manholes and inlet baeine.
(b) The oonat?Uction of a ~4 inch
oonorete storm water sewer on University AT~nue
between Bryant Street and Waverley ~'redt, •1th
manholes and inlet baaina.

concrete storm water sewer on University Avenue
between Bryant Street and Emerson Street, with manholes and inlet basins.

and the oonetruotion of concrete curbs on eaoh
side of the roadway of Univereity Avenue !xcm the
northeasterly line of Waverley Street to the
southwesterly line of Uiddlefield Road. and along
the eoutheaeterly line of Univereity Avenue from
the southwesterly line of WaTerley Street to a
point 60 feet southwesterly therefrom. -such curbs
to be of the sizes and to be 1a14 at the places
and of the lengths as shown on the plane and
epeoifications hereinafter mentioned.
Seo. 3. The removal of existing side-
walk ooniere and the oonetruotion of tour oonorote
sidewalk oornera at the intersection of University
Avenue &nd Middlefield Road; and of two concrete
sidewalk corners at the intersection of UniTer11ty
Avenue SDd Byron Street; and of four concrete
sidewalk corners at the intersection of University

Sec. 4. ~he removal of existing gutters
and the oonstruotion of Portland cement ooncrete
gutters 6 inches thick and 2~ feet wide at the
northerly side of the roadway of 11orenoe Street
for a distanoe ot 30 feet thereon, from the north-
westerly line of Un1Tere1t7 Avenue; and on each
aide of the roadwa7 of Dryant Street, for a
distance of 33 feet thereon, northwe1terl7 from
the northwesterly line of Univerait7 Avenuti;
and on the northeasterly line of the roadway of
Bryant Street tor a distance of 36 feet thereon
southeasterly from the southeasterly line cf
University \venue; and on the southwesterly line
of the roadway of Bryant Street for a distance of
20 fe~t thereon, eoutheaeterly from the south-
easterly line of University Avenue; and on the
northeasterly line of the roadwa1 of Ramona
Street for a d1etanoe of 30 feet thereon, north-

prepared June l, 1926, by J. I. Byxbee, City Engineer,
Palo Alto, California, now on file with the City
Clerk of the City of Palo Alto, whioh plane and
spec1f1oationa are hereby referred to as the plane
and &pecifioationB for ea1d work and ot all the details
of said work, and for thie purpose said plane and
epec1f1catione are hereb7 adopted and made a part of
thie Resolution ot Intention.

Brothers Company, of Boston, Maea., of date June 4,
l92b, and on file in the office of the City Clerk
of the City of Palo Alto, California.
Seo. 9. AND WHEREAS, said contemplated
work and improvement in the opinion of said Council
is of more than local or ordinar1 public benefit,
ea1d Council hereby makee the cost and expensee of
said work and improvement chargeable upon a dis-
trict, which district said Council deolaree to be
the district benefited by said work and improvement,
and to be assessed to pay the coats a.nd expenses
