RESOLUTION NO . 3312
A RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION AND OF
INTENTION TO MAKE CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
SAN ANTONIO AVENUE
PROJECT NO. 59-4
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, C aliforni a,
that the public interest , conve nie nc e and necessity require, a nd
that it is the intention of said Co uncil to m ake the f ollowing
changes and modifications in the proceedings under Resol utio n No.
3276 of P relimin ar y Determination and of Intention adopt ed by said;
Co uncil on September 2o, lybOz
1. Change an d modify the work to be d one and the plans and
specifications ther efor to change from ce nter strip st reet lignt-
ing to side ligh tin g along San An tonio Avenue from Alma Street to
Bayshore Highway.
2. Change and modify the bou ndar ies of the assessment dis-
trict, the assessmen t diagram, and the a ssessment, to include the
property on the wester ly side of Sa n An ton io Avenue northerly of
Statio n 54+98 an d o wned by the Califor nia Pacific Commercial
Corporation within the bou ndaries of sa id district and to assess
said property, on a uniform fr ont foctage basis, for its share of
the benefits from said proposed street lighting facilities. Any
amounts so assessed a ga inst said pr ope rty sha ll be applied to r e-
du ce the street lighting assessmen ts proposed to be le vied against
the remainin g properties w ithin said assessment distr ict.
3. Change and ;modify the wor k to be don e an d the plans an d
specification s therefor to provide for openings in the center
strip at Byron Stre et a nd at about Station 131- 00 .
All of said changes .end modifications shall be made either on
the face of the Repo:t or by filing an a mendmen t there to.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Monda y , the 23rd day
of Ja nua ry _ 1961 , at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. , in
the Cou ncil Chambers, City Hall, Pa lo Alto, Califor nia, are here by

fi xed as the time and place whe n and where said Co uncil will con-
sider the matter of making s aid changes a nd modific ations and
whether or not the public inte rest, convenience and necessity
require such cha nges and modifications, and heari ng all pe rso ns
inter ested therein.
The City Clerk o3 said City shall caus e a copy of this reso-
lution: to be published t wice in the P alo Alto Times, a n ewspape r
oi'genera l cir culation published in said City and the newspaper in
which the Notice of Improvement unde r said Resolution of Prelim-
inary Determina tion and of Intention was published, and shall post
a copy on the bu lletin board in the City Hall, said posting and
sa id first publication to be at least te n days before s aid d ay of
hear ing.
