RESOLUTION NO. 3309
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
SAN ANTONIO AVENUE
PROJECT NO. 59-4
RESOLVED, by the C ouncil of the City of Palo Alto, Califo rnia
that
WHEREAS, the City Manager did on the 9th day of Novembe r,
19b0, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed prop osals or
bids for the w ork to be done and improve ments to be made, as
descr ibed a nd specified in Resolutio n No. 3278 of P relimin ary
Determination a nd of In tention adopted by this C ouncil on Septeibe4
26, 1960, to w hich reso lution reference is hereby made fo r a de-
scription of the work and :improv ements to be done and the materi-
als, supplies and equ ipment to be furn is hed therefor, and said
City Manager reported the bids to this Council at its meeti ng at
7:30 o'clock P.M. on November 14, 1960;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That said Council her eby rejects all of said proposals
or bids ex cept tha t her einafte r mentio ne d, an d hereby a war ds the
con tract for doing; the work and improve ments and furn ishin g the
ma ter ia ls, supplies and equ ipment necessary therefor, to the low-
est responsible bidder, to -w it:

at the unit price s na med in its bid, except that bid items
19 throu gh 28 , relatin g to street lightin g facili-
ties, are deleted.
2. That the i•Iayor of said City is hereby authorized to ma ke
and enter into a written contract with said successful bidder, and
to receiv e an d approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the
City Clerk of said City is her eby directed to attest his sign ature
a nd affix thereto the cor porate seal of said City.
