A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON
RESOLUTION NO. 3278 OF PRELIMINARY
DETERMINATION AND OF INTENTION

RESOLVED, by the Cou ncil of the City of P alo Alto, C alifo rni a,
that
WEREAS, this Council did on September 26, 1960, adopt its
Resolutio n No. 3274 of Pr elimin ary Dete rmination a nd of Intention
to con struct pu blic improvements in and for said City;
WHEREAS, on September 26, 1960, thi s C ou ncil adopt ed a resolu-+
tion appointin g time and place of hearing protests in relation to
the proposed acqu isitions an d impr oveme nts and directing notice;
WHEREAS, n otice was given of the time and pl ace therei n
stated in the mann er provided by law, as appears from the affi-
da vits on file in the office of the City Clerk;
WHEREAS, said ma tter came on regu lar ly for hear ing at the
time therein fixed; an d
WHEREAS, all written - protests and other wr itten communica-
tions we re publicly re ad at said meeting and all persons desiring
to be hea rd were fu lly hea rd;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That written protests aga inst said acquisition s a nd im-
provements signed by the ow ners of a majority or mor e of the are a
of the lan ds within the ass essment distr ict, or of the a rea of the
lands within the assessmen t district assessed for the co sts and
expenses of said work, were not filed with the City Clerk at or
before the tim e set for hearin g.
2. That sa id protests be, and each of them a re hereby,
overruled.

copy of a resolution duly passed a nd adopted by the City Co uncil of
the City of Pal o Alto, Califo rnia, at a meeti ng th ereof held on the
