RESOLUTION NO. 3234A.
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PREVAILING WAGE SCALE
FOOTHILLS ANNEXATION NO. 2 SANITARY SEWERS
PROJECT NO. 59-10
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, Califor nia, th at
WHEREAS, the City Co uncil of said City has asc ertain ed the ge ne ral
pr evailing ra te of per diem wages in the locality in which public wo rk
is proposed to be perfor med for work of a similar cha racter to that
descr ibed in Re so lutio n No . 3230 of Preliminary Determin ation and of
Inten tio n adopted Ju ne 27, 2950;
WHEREAS, sa id rate of per diem w ages is set forth and contained in
the specifications for said project, copiee of which a re on file in the
office of the City Engineer an d a lso in the office of the City Clerk of
said City;
WHEREAS, this Coun cil ha s du ly con sidered sa id scale and finds the
same to be corr ect in all par ticulars;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED an d ORDERED, as
follows:
1. That sa id wage scale as set forth in said specifications is
hereby established and adopted as the prevailin g rate of per diem wages
for w ork of a similar character to that above descr ibed in the loca lity
in which such public w ork is proposed to be perfo rmed.
2. Tha t not less than said prevailin g r ate of per diem wages shall
be paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of
Pr elimin ary Determina tion a nd of In tention.
